Yes, I've been AWOL for a bit....hopefully I am not the only one that has slumps in the Fall and end of winter...
Work has been busy and life has been a little chaotic, but everyone at my house is healthy. 2 of my kids are looking for work now, but that is life and sometimes how it goes....
So, on to pictures...next post will be an award from another blogger, but for now, pics!
This is 2 coats on my 6 Harts Polish Glacier, with Secret Galaxy over the top and some fun nail art. I was inspired by a lady in a nail group I belong to and she did the heart with crackle polish . I used blue painter's tape for the heart, but only because the scotch tape kept ripping. My pointer finger was done with the extra cut out heart...put on the white nail and sponged over the top.
Below, she thought she would help me put together my new work center. I can't get IKEA Helmers here, no stores in Montana and shipping would make it out of line. Another lovely blogger turned me on to the Michael's craft store "3 drawer storage cubes" and a good sale..so I nabbed these babies!
More help.....except for the tiny screw packs, she was kind of fun help. Yup, she has nail caps on. I hate the thought of declawing and these seem to keep the clawing down....
The finished center. They didn't have 4 of the 3 drawer units, so one is a 2 drawer one...works for my bubble wrap, envelopes and tape for mailing out polish.
A girl must have her tunes....

Oh you are absolutely right - I love your cat photos - the one with he polished hand and the paw on the table is to die for - and the cute fat in the furniture LOL - all great...
It's good to have you back - and you mani is super sweet too :)
I love these nails! Gotta try these, and we have plenty of blue painters tape around here (a plus of being a construction worker's wife)
Super cute kitty photos!
lovely manicure and I love the kitty spam, so cute!
Happy belated birthday! I like your new work desk with the cubes. The last pic also gives a sneak peek of your nail polish on the shelf above, lol!
Yes Happy belated B-day!
Those cabinets look great!
I wonder if I can get my paws on a couple here, because we don't have an Ikea in SK either. Good idea to turn them into a desk.
Glad to hear that everyone is healthy, and I also love critter pics. :)
Um, I was going to say that I LOVE the crackled heart idea SOOO much, but then got all distracted by cool storage and a kitteh.
Maria, lol, I was hoping you'd like them! I have missed my blogging and the lovely ladies like you!
Thank-you Charis :) I normally go for the scotch tape...but for this...blue tape was perfect...
Thank-you & welcome, Melanie!
ABOP, I think I have missed you the most! Thank-you for the birthday wishes. I have MT drawers are filled and that little rack just has minis on it now...
Lol! JQ! I got the idea on Facebook....and it was perfect, since we do have a Michael's craft store. I've been loving it, though....works wonderful....but now I want more of these units!
Hmm, I'm afraid I dislike crackle polishes, but when I saw this heart on someone else, I had to try....and I love how it came out, too! Thanks!
