Seeing those flawless manis on Pinterest inspired me to do manis myself and started my polish love as well...

My dear friend Helen from http://nail-newbie.blogspot.com/ Started posting her fab mani's and I thought I would give it a shot. It's all been whirlwind of nail polish and nail art ever since! I'm so happy that I have gotten to know you and discover you amazing polishes! Dead honest, you are one of the best indie polish makers out there! Congrats hon!

My beautiful sister inspired my love of polish. More so since joining our wonderful group where i feel totally comfortable sharing my pictures ideas and friendship with other polish lovers!

I started doing my nails as a way to distract myself from some bad news I received a year ago, and it continues to be a coping mechanism for me :)

I was first inspired by chloe love nails blog. And the obsession grew. Now my polish sisters in PL inspire me.

My fellow art friends from junior college.. they always did nail art and polish, and had gorgeous nails! It inspired me to turn from a nail biter to nail polish fanatic! Have never regretted (:

I have traveled to the polish side <3

I am a terrible nailll-biter. Anxiety makes it worse. I discovered that changing my polish frequently helps the anxiety and the biting. I leave it on too long though, or I'll start picking at it then biting.

Gottwinkies said...

Rebecca, I am so glad it works! I have to admit I am a terrible "picker" and anxiety makes it worse and I can't do as much damage if my nails are painted....whatever works! Thank-you for commenting!

I think I was just inspired by colour! I love colour =D The first nail art I remember was actually rainbows for Pride haha, so maybe the Pride Parade? xD

So many nail art bloggers and indie companies have been my polish inspiration, too many to name! Colores de Carol, Cosmetic Sanctuary, Scrangie, Adventures in Acetone were some of the ones in the beginning. It's been a fantastic two-and-a-half years!

I got in to collecting polish this past Dec. Since then I have met so many nice people. I love all the art work and just everything about it.

It just makes me feel good and then when I started seeing the amazing nail art on the blogs I am addicted!!! Thank you for the great giveaway!!

When I was a kid, my mom usually had her nails done and I always thought it was so feminine and lovely. As I got older, I started doing my own nails and now can't stand to have them naked!

Unknown said...

I had to think about this.. but it all comes down to the one person that has taught me nearly everything I know and has formed me into the person I am today: My mother. Since I was a little girl, I remember her always making sure her nails were perfectly polished and shaped. That is definitely what inspired my true love for nail polish :)

My sister started my whole nail polish craze and now with so many beautiful friends I made from the polish world , the love for polish continues and will be for a long time, Thanks for this Courtney xoxo!

I got some zoya during the 3 for $10 sale and then it's been all down hill from there lol!!! In 3 months I have joined many facebook groups following blogs and now have over 100 polishes and 200 stamp plates.

I really can't recall any one thing that inspired my obsession with nail polish. I do remember feeling really crappy about myself and how much weight I'd allowed myself to gain following my bout with cancer. I wasn't feeling too particularly pretty or interesting to anyone at that point. I had some polish then, mostly $1 bottles from Walmart. I saw a fun design on facebook and watched some youtube videos, specifically on water marbling and I was hooked....especially the first time someone noticed my hard work and asked if I'd had them professionally done!!! I was so excited to say, no, I had done them myself!!!
Now, nearly 500 polishes later, many indie brands or kinds that you can NOT buy at WAl-mart....I'm obsessed!!!!
I do have to say, though, that MySimpleLittle{leasues on youtube is my absolute FAV person to watch do tutorials on water marbling and several other things!!! She's the one that inspired and caught my eye with the first water marble video I watched her do!!!
Thanks for the opportunity to try to win some of your wonderful polish....I always like learning about new brands and trying them out!!! Someday soon, I hope to have a blog of my own!

Donna

I'm not sure what inspired me... but I have a lot of anxiety, and I tried using it as a coping mechanism, and now I'm hooked!

I really wanted to stop biting my nails so I started buying nice nail polish, gradually this grew into an obsession then one day nearly 2 years ago I started reading nail blogs, specifically http://www.neverlandnailblog.com/ I started to try my hand at nail art and eventually started my own blog http://www.nevermindsuzi.com/ xo

Thank you for this opportunity! Wonderful nail polishes! *happy dance*
My love for nail polish was sparked at a very young age, when I got my first nail polish for my birthday, but lit on fire when I saw a youtube video of Bubzbeauty, painting a cute bumblebee on her sky-blue nails. That is when a whole world opened up to me :)

Unknown said...

Thanks for the giveaway! I blame Konad. My hoard started with "just a few" colors as bases to stamp on. Then I discovered indies and my nail polish obsession began.

Unknown said...

My love for art and colour! :D Can't really do painting, drawings or much anymore so I turned to Polish! A tiny canvas doesn't take as much time. C:
