Post-Holiday Post...

Whew! Holidays are over, everyone is healthier and my house is hmmm, somewhat back to normal! We had a bad cold/flu move through our house and hit just about everyone I know...blegh!

My etsy shop has been busy and so that has meant fewer posts and probably less fancy manis. Oh, well-thank-you for everyone that is still reading my blog!  I can't WAIT for spring, now, since my sweetie found an affordable small (6'x8') greenhouse kit for me-yes, he is indeed a "keeper" :0)

On to some mani spammy!

2 coats of Rainbow Honey Pinkie Promise over the top of Essie Demure Vix. I picked up demure Vix somewhere along the way dirt cheap and was thinking I would trade it...but darn! I really kinda like this polish! Covers WAY better than I expected and it is the perfect undie for some of my glitters. On my index finger, there is 1 coat-pretty good coverage in my opinion!

Above-a Freaking "My Little Pony" parade on my nails, lol! I decided that this was a nail polish addict's version of "gratuitous sex and violence" (in other words, "Gratuitous glitter and glitz")
Above and below-Crows Toes Purple People Eater (Yes, I grew up with the song!) over Quirius Eggplant. 2 coats of Eggplant, 1 coat of CT PPE. I tell you what, PPE is beyond stunning-it F-ing POPS! I tweaked the photos a bit to show it more color accurate, but PPE is super sparkly and glamorous-I ADORE it. I covered it with Seche Ultra V, Gelous, and 1 coat of SV for gloss, since it is a tiny bit gritty, but I really love the total glossy look.

Below, the new color I am working on- I am totally loving it, too!-with Lynderella Change dabbed down from the cuticles-This looked so awesome...blingy, but not over the top, you know?

Can you see the gold/green shimmer in the blue? That is the best part I think...it is a very strong, noticeable shimmer and it is lovely....
I hope everyone had a wonderful time over the holidays-I wish you all the best: Good Health, Safety, Loved ones nearby and *hugs*

Random Bits of Insanity....

WOW, has it really been so long...it has! I have done lots of manis...haven't posted them, but here are several to either like or not! Mouhahahahaaa! After, an update on other things if you are interested...

Brown franken of mine...holo brown, yummmm...

WOW, this one is an old one! I can't remember the colors I used but the gorgeous sparkly one was a gift from my lovely friend Saundie...my partner in polish addiction, that is, lol!

Below...*sigh* I LOVE A England's Elaine....and I love Lynderella's Change. Are you drooling yet?

Really? Help you with the rusty truck brakes right after I started my nails?! Yes, I did indeed help and only had to re-do one nail, hahahahaha, I am that good!
I made this franken after seeing some similar ones online and seeing ABOP's white franken-decided I had to have my own. I am totally groovin on this white jelly w/glitter look!

Catherine Arley-have no idea of the name, it was a swap gift from Lovely Buzzwheedle!
This was my first attempt at decals, and I totally muffed it, they only stayed on 1 day and then just popped off-topcoat and all. Let me know if you can actually tell what the pictures are, hahahahaa...not my best work, but fun! My hubby thought it was cool-score!

OK, update time...I have polishes and jewelry up on etsy---fun!

Other news-husband is doing well-but heart has not recovered as much as we hoped after his surgery in April. That is OK, though-he feels SO much better and it will take time. He is back to working and just had a defibrillator surgically put in and was home from the hospital after less than 24 hours. If you ever want information on this bizarre/fun topic of heart health...just e-mail me. If I could stand for more than an hour comfortably, I would have gone to nursing school :0) Medical stuff has always been fascinating to me and I did go into a medically-related field in college.

Thanks for sticking with me when I haven't posted much, and reading my craziness...I shall post again sooner! No more teens in the home, so I get my computer back, YAY!
*HUGS*

Random Mani Spam-fest

I really am here....

OK, so my blog has been a bit neglected while life moves on and summer has finally arrived. Camping season is here (yes, I love to camp!), but since sleeping on the ground is no longer something my husband can do, I splurged and found a used tiny camper for us. And I am loving it, Mouahahahha! No more fighting the rain, I can cook inside and sleep dry! And yes, my nails are the prettiest in the mountains!

OK, on to the Manis!
(btw, I am not touching any of the Lynderella issues floating out there-I love her polishes, and I will post my pretties!)

Lynderella Change over NYC Tangerine cream (YUMMY!). The gradient wasn't very even, but it was still lovely...this is going on my toes next!
This is where we have been spending our weekends-Outside, getting our feet wet hiking!

My Nova (she loves her sticks!)

Crappy picture of me looking fat-ugh...but at least the waterfall is gorgeous!

Wet feet...had to take a picture!

~Break over~More Lynderella...

Essie Lilacism (damn bubbles...)
Gradient using (woops, can't remember) I THINK  LA Colors gray/silver (sorry!)

Mercurial over the top-Stunning, I thought! Very distracting in the sun!
My franken, Cinnamon Glow! Have a few bottles of this up in my Etsy store (6HartsCraftCompany)

This one is yummy-kind of reminds me of cinnamon rolls and cinnamon toast.....Darn it, now I made myself hungry-off to the kitchen to make some toast!

Lynderella Love Part II

OK, I have been absent for a bit...life is still going OK, just busy. Duties changing at work and getting ready for that changeover was Stressful! Pretty much done with that part now and in my new/old position. I am one of those people at work that moves well to new job duties and likes to learn, so I do get moved...

Husband is recovering very well. After major heart surgeries here we have Cardiac Rehabilitation, which is pretty interesting. They monitor his heart with a portable ECG machine and have him do specific, planned exercises in the hospital rehab. center.  I am still incredibly thankful he is alive. Don't ever take your heart-health for granted: Lesson Learned!

OK....Lynderella polish!!

I can totally see why people are so in love with her polishes. They really are lovely to apply and have on your nails-Just like wearing new jewelry, only cheaper, hahahaha!
Above and below-Bride of Franken . One coat BOF over one coat of Sally Hansen Black-Out. Lovely, but I needed more "POW!"
AHA!!! Two coats below...and that second coat was slathered on, I tell you! Damn, that is stunning!
I was trying very hard to catch the different shimmery qualities of BOF
Look at that bottle picture, below...Really, this might be my favorite of the 4 polishes I received. So many possibilities! Can't wait to try it over different colors, hahaha!
I hope everyone is happy and healthy! Next post will be Lynderella's Change. I have several posts to catch-up on...but I did just receive Mercurial in the mail, so that was exciting today. Yes, I am trying hard to resist taking my current polish off JUST to try it, hahahaha!!

Lynderella Love, Part 1

Ahhh, my name finally came up in the llarowe site wishlist process....The day before Mother's Day I got the best nail mail!

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get everything on my wishlist because of recent medical stuff (imagine that...no pay when I don't work!), but I DID get 4 lovelies. I told my husband he could call that my mommy's day present and you know what he said? "We'll call it your nursing fee", Hahahhaa!!
What a doll-definitely a keeper when he buys me Lynderellas for sticking by him when he was sick!

Yay!...on to the pretty spam-fest! You've seen these before probably, but these are my first/only Lynderellas.
The first one I used was Gotta Love Brains. I had NO idea it had a purple shimmer! I used Pure Ice Silver Mercedes underneath, and 2 coats of GLB:

I didn't plan for those cool, big ass glitters to be right next to each other, lol! But I was not talented enough to pluck the one off and place it elsewhere...

Get a look at that purple/pink shimmer! I love that stuff! This one is so fun and funky and subtle at the same time. Not too crazy for work and this stuff has a great formula, by the way...I was pleasantly suprised!
If you are looking for these-be patient. The wishlist system through llarowe is slow but sure. I put my WL in to Leah Ann in February and would have had every item in April- it took 2 months but worth it. The polish scalpers on e-bay kind of piss me off.....
