KB Shimmer! Woooo!

OK, playing catch-up again. Anyone who gets snow SICK of winter yet?? SO this first mani was basically me giving winter the Bird...seriously, lol! And not a single managerial soul said a word, heheheheeeee..
So bright! 2 coats of WnW Sunny Side Up, 1 coat of KB Shimmer Orange Pop.

Below, One of my new polishes-Ninja Bat. Valentine-themed colors, but definitely not your typical heartsy polish, lol. It actually is named after a dear friend-her nickname at work, lol! This will be up on my etsy site tomorrow. Hope you like it!
Below, kitten insanity...I was sitting relaxing on the couch-all of a sudden, the radio BLASTED! I turned around and ding-dong was looking at me like "What?!"

Nova and Rowan cuddling while I do my nails in my craft/polish room...awwww....

One more pic...
Candeo Colors Melonball! Longtime lemming of mine. 1 coat over a failed polish experiment, lol...

Welcome to My Zoo!

We are indeed Blessed. I received a call late last week from a lady that had Goliath at her house-He had been living feral and was trying to adopt her home/critters! I zipped up there so fast, I was like greased lighting! He was about 3 miles away and across a mani river from us....

I was so shocked and surprised I couldn't even cry until later-He had been missing for almost 3 months, and here he was back home:0) We took him to the vet and he was surprisingly unharmed...2.5 pounds lighter, a broken canine tooth (a low fever) and very freaked out. Pics below...

First night home...growled and purred while he ate...growled at EVERYONE!

After seeing the vet and after some normalizing-Happy as a clam on my bed!

He was not happy about Rowan, but he is teaching her some manners, lol! All three on my daughter's loft bed...Dove was freaking thrilled to see him but not happy to share the moment with Rowan-note the ears, lol!
The even better news...it took him all of 3 days to start his normal habits again, like his spot on our bed, expecting his food dish to be in a particular place and all that stuff cats do :-D

OK, mani time and a wee bit of spam...
I had this crazy urge to try a mani I had seen on Pinterest ( I do have an account there under Gott, come visit!)...so here is my version!
Rainbow stripes under black! I used the skinny striping tape for this...I have been waiting like crazy to try this!

Below, my thumb...this took way too damn long but so cool looking! it makes me happy, lol!

More mani spami....
Below, one of my new Etsy polishes, called Glacier...the blue shimmer is not as "out there" as I would like...

And below, Secret Galaxy over Glacier...DROOL!

Another new polish of mine... Moon Shadow over black...Purple lovers, drool!

And the last of the bunch for this year, Bat Crap Crazy (2 coats) long story, it's a phrase our current Governor uses, lol....

What do you think...spammed out yet?! And YAHOO for good critter news!

Another Mani Spam-Fest!

Not going to apologize this time...especially since it sounds like mani spam is a GOOD thing!

My Esty store is finally picking up, but that means a bit less time for fun blogging, lol! The jewelry isn't selling, but that's ok...it will be mine if it doesn't go, lol...(that is the biggest benefit of making your own jewelry!)

This is what I am wearing right now...First time trying the stripe-ing tape, and I am loving it...
Orly Winter Wonderland over white...pure heaven.
I was so happy with how this turned out-below, my right hand even turned out good!

Next......
Two of my polishes sponged over black....I was playing with the stripeing tape...not very noticeable, though...

Below, Sinful Colors Slate...yummy color, but I couldn't leave it alone....
I sponged half..I was going to try some crazy ass design stamped down the middle...

Stamped...not well, and I stamped over the silver with the blue-green that I used for sponging...meh...

Below, Zoya Gaia, 2 coats of loveliness...

Now, for one of my lemmings...Candeo Mallard-Stunning, especially over Gaia. You can see the gold underneath *sigh*

Under regular light....*sigh*
OK, Kitten pics...

New LeaLac Stamping plate

I broke down and bought one of LeahAnn Larowe's new stamping plates from her site, shopllarowe. I got stamping plate A-XL and finally received them and tried the stamps out right away!

So thrilled with these! The images are huge and that allows a person to put stamps on the nail a bit differently for each nail, which I have found hard to do with other stamping plates.

Here we go...

Base is Sally Hansen Mint Sorbet 2 coats. Stamped with Konad stamping polish in green. Such a clean gorgeous combo, I thought, but I wanted to try out a new polish I am working on :0)

I was extremely pleased with the final look. The polish I used as a layering polish is a gold/green duochrome with scattered, sparse gold holographic particles...very fine glitter, basically. It really doesn't change the color of the polish under it....just adds some glamour. What do you think? I am considering adding this one to my etsy site to sell.

Fall is in the air here...no frost yet during the night, but it is getting down around 45F at night. We lost one of our cats recently...he just never came home-we suspect someone is poisoning cats in our neighborhood and he was not a roamer. I still miss him. A lot. So many changes recently, and he was a steadfast little friend. Goliath actually adopted us. We rescued him when he had been abandoned in a rental home-the previous owners had locked him and his little buddy, Dove inside the house and then just left. They managed to get out, and it took my daughter 2 weeks to catch him. Once he was in the house and we were getting him healthy, he bonded to my husband and I like nobody's business. I nursed him through a bad respiratory illness and couldn't take him to the Humane Society for adoption...so we kept him and he kept us. Fifteen pounds of tough, lovey fur. We miss you Goliath.
Whoa...not sure where that came from...Didn't mean to impose that downer-sorry everyone.

Black and Gold Negligee

So naughty! That is exactly what this reminded me of...a racy, Lacy black nightgown! This was super easy if you have stamping plates...2 coats of Revlon Gold Coin with SV for my topcoat, and then I stamped using Sally Hansen Black Out. So simple, but so  lovely, I thought!

If any of you have visited my etsy site, I just posted some of my jewelry on the site. Thank-you if you have visited it and if you have...feedback is appreciated!

Have a great evening and I leave you with my version of Happiness...

My daughter, my dog and I canoeing on the river...Life is indeed good!

Secret Galaxy Franken

I am thrilled with how this turned out, and I will be selling some on my etsy site, 6HartsCraftCompany. I have a batch settling-I am checking all polishes to ensure the glitters/pigments and such mix well and don't have any adverse results! Some glitters do not do well in polish :)My friend Saundie helped name this one (Thanks Saundie!)...she thought the holo bits reminded her of a galaxy...

Duochrome polish with scattered holographic particles...lovely! One Coat Secret Galaxy over Sally Hansen Black Out.
Blurry picture to show the little bit of holo peeking out!

Almost looks like metallic-aqua in the sun

Purple duochrome...

What do you think? I am very proud of this one. I have tried stamping with it over black and it stamps moderately well!

Random Mani Spam-fest

I really am here....

OK, so my blog has been a bit neglected while life moves on and summer has finally arrived. Camping season is here (yes, I love to camp!), but since sleeping on the ground is no longer something my husband can do, I splurged and found a used tiny camper for us. And I am loving it, Mouahahahha! No more fighting the rain, I can cook inside and sleep dry! And yes, my nails are the prettiest in the mountains!

OK, on to the Manis!
(btw, I am not touching any of the Lynderella issues floating out there-I love her polishes, and I will post my pretties!)

Lynderella Change over NYC Tangerine cream (YUMMY!). The gradient wasn't very even, but it was still lovely...this is going on my toes next!
This is where we have been spending our weekends-Outside, getting our feet wet hiking!

My Nova (she loves her sticks!)

Crappy picture of me looking fat-ugh...but at least the waterfall is gorgeous!

Wet feet...had to take a picture!

~Break over~More Lynderella...

Essie Lilacism (damn bubbles...)
Gradient using (woops, can't remember) I THINK  LA Colors gray/silver (sorry!)

Mercurial over the top-Stunning, I thought! Very distracting in the sun!
My franken, Cinnamon Glow! Have a few bottles of this up in my Etsy store (6HartsCraftCompany)

This one is yummy-kind of reminds me of cinnamon rolls and cinnamon toast.....Darn it, now I made myself hungry-off to the kitchen to make some toast!
