Cover your eyes!!

This was called retina-searing by a friend....it certainly freaked out my camera! I don't have a name for the Color Club polish, but it was part of a collection I bought at Ross Dres For Less....truly, this thing is freaking bright, but fun!
Sinful Colors 24/7 went on first.... 2 coats, then a friend convinced to to sponge and then stamp. Like the crazy woman that I am... I did... At like 9:30 pm lol!
Um, yeah.... Retina-searing.... Thank-you to the real mynailpolishobsession (IG)  for pegging it right on the mark.
Ahaaaaaa, thank you to the lovely Marnie who convinced me to do this!!! It totally rocked and is one of the few manis I will be sad to take off! I stamped alternating white and silver using bundle monster plates..... Still loving it even though it's chipping :(

Kitten-y fun, lol
Ooooh, almost forgot, BEE pictures too!
The tiny red arrows point to bee eggs! Don't ya love how the one bee sort of posed? Looks a little like the Unibomber pics.... Too weird!

Take care, cover your eyeballs for 6 hours to recover, now!
Talk at ya later!!

Playing catch-up!

I plan on spamming everyone with many pictures, lol! Hope no one minds-if you are curious about a polish and I haven't listed it...ask, and I shall find what I used!

First hmmm, maybe my pink/Breast Cancer Awareness manis... I know, October is over, but they were still great manis!

Above, Sally Hansen Twisted Pink with  diluted Nina Ultra Pro holo topcoat that spoke to me...
That's the full-strength version below, with my new all time Zoya Holy Grail topcoat. If you have bought any of these new NUP polishes in this different bottle...the brush is unbelievably HUGE! My poor skinny pinkie was swamped...

The Polish Hoochie introduced me to the Seche Ultra V-Best thing for slow drying Zoyas---I can now really love Zoyas!

Below, I can't remember if this was Sinful Colors...but I think it is...pretty slate gray with a blue-ish sheen to it. I stamped over it using LeaLAC stamping plates and Konad special pink stamping polish
Below... I think I used the diluted NUP holo polish (above)...not totally sure, though...But I liked it!
Below, my very first successful water marble!! Whoo-hoo! I used my 6Harts Secret Galaxy for the blue you see. I know I used my dotting tool a bit much, but that is ok, I guess, I was very proud of the result!
One last mani...My best friend gave me a Zoya that just  wasn't her color (not sure I believe her!) and here is my mani for the fist time using the Seche Ultra V....this was stamp-able in under 10 minutes, I was SO happy! Such a vibrant color, I thought, but clean-up was bugger...

Ok, slide show over...I hope you liked these!

Veterans' Day Mani & Other Fun!

Ok, I have been absent from my blog (guilty as charged...) but trust me...the nails have been polished! I am going to spam you with manis and some new kitten pics.

I have never mentioned this on my blog, but I have one son and he is an Army Veteran and I am immensely proud of him. We are making home made pizzas tomorrow for Veterans' Day for him.
I decided I would do a special mani for the day!

By the way I am just as proud of my three strong daughters also...My mother raised me to be a strong woman and my daughters are all that way as well :0)

OK, on to the mani!

The holographic sparkle is Hits Disco Ball-a $2 sale polish, whoo-hoo!

 Can you see the holo-goodness?

Ok, now KITTY!

Rowan was TIRED!
Now more mani spammi!

Above, Contrary Polish Fire-brand from a scratch & Dent from Llarowe -can you see that amazing purple flash being sneaky on my index finger?....I was a very bad polish fiend in October...

Candeo Voodoo and Girly Bits Howl At The Moon all over black. I was REALLY bad...Bad Twinks...

Essie Marshmallow with a Nina Ultra Pro "watered-down" holo topcoat and Sally Girl pink cheap glitter
This was one of my October Breast Cancer Awareness manis-lovely pink glitter bomb

Now, more FUR BABIES!!

My Nova-Dog with Rowan

Take care and make sure you tell your loved ones how important they are to you...even if the are furry!
(What do you think of the new blog look?)

Blued and Tattooed

I have a phrase I use that describes when something really bad happens (engine blows on your car when you are in the middle of Nowhere) might be an old phrase (probably is) but it goes like this, "...I am screwed, blued and tattooed" So that is where this post title comes from-weird, I know, but that is just me!

No bad news for me or my family-just describes these manis :0)
If you can guess, I finally figured out the tattoo stuff and basically, I have given up on making my own fingernail decals unless I can find a better product to print on.

Here we go-
2 coats of NYC french mani white, and 2 coats of Sinful Colors Cinderella-gorgeous!

SC Cinderella over white makes my heart happy....it is just the effect it has on me!

The only place I found tattoos at WalMart was in the "party" supplies aisle and these were in a pack for party favors, wow! There were 4 different sheets of designs in the package and I was pretty happy to finally try this. SO easy!  I didn't do it like some of the tutorials I have seen, I just very carefully cut out the ones I wanted, laid the paper design-side down on my dry nail and dabbed them carefully with a damp rag. They slid right onto my nail-Like Butter! SV over the top and GO!

AND, on to another blue mani...

New polish I found the same time I found the tattoos, Maybelline Color Show-Denims it must be part of a "Denims Collection" because it had a separate color on top-I just can't remember at the mo.

I really loved this color/polish but it dried almost too quickly. One coat almost did the trick. Accent finger done in Pure Ice Jaguar and stamped (yes, I did!) with the same blue polish that is on on the other fingers. YAY for finding a new stamping polish! That little glass fleck effect in MCS Denims did not hamper the stamping at all....

Quite a few compliments on this second mani, including some from guys.
I really do get a kick out of it when guys like my nails-and when they are confident enough to comment on them. I take that as a high compliment, even though hubby thinks guys are flirting when this happens, hahahaha!

Nasty!

No other way to say it...when I saw what my pretty blue Sinful Colors blue did...I said many bad words, most of them beginning with F and S.

Look at this!
Yes, I used a base coat-2 coats, actually

Perfect time (after I stopped cussing) for me to try ABOP's suggestion of using whitening toothpaste-SO glad I actually had some! Here is the "after" picture....

Whew! I will say, this only seems to work for me immediately after the nails get stained...

OK, now weekend trip spam, you can go now if you DON'T like mountains and trees, LOL!!!

Like a skeleton forest..a forest fire had burned through this area several years ago, and this is what was left-but new baby trees/growth coming in...

We went driving up this crazy-ass "road" that would have stopped most normal people....but then again, well, read "about me". Really, though, I am a big chicken...I hate heights, and ok, I speed but that is when I am encased in a car with a seatbelt...

Yes, that is a freaking Cliff....and that was as close as I was getting, thankyouverymuch

Below...at the top of the road (I use the term loosely) That is not too far from the peak. Hubby and I rode together on the ATV, and I think on the way up I did a lot of leaning low and gunning it, lol. Hahaha, he knew the only way I'd go up there was if I was the one driving (that's what she said!)

The tiny red arrow is pointing to a lookout tower that is considered a historical building. The trail stopped maybe 100 feet below the tower.

Below, on the way down...looks much less freaky...

Take care, enjoy your week and as always-Hug your loved ones and tell em you love them!

O My, The Sunshine!

YAY! Summer has finally arrived in Montana, and so has the sun! Wheeeee!
I have some older manis I will post later...but I have some sunny summer ones I want to show you first..
oooooh, lookee! I have wanted to do a tone-on-tone holo stamp for awhile...

Sinful Colors Timbleberry, I think! I forgot to get a bottle shot :0)

Stamped with a truly old polish-I think I may have had this close to 10 years...Sally Hansen Nail Prisms Amber Rose
Close-ups! So pretty, yes?
-------------------------
Next...

Sinful Colors Hazard (so yummy) 2 coats and I adore this color already! Above is the finished look-I was trying to catch all the colors.

Below, sponged with Zoya Gaia just on the tips. GAH! Ignore that nasty ugly skin thing I have going.

Below, sponged over Gaia with my new franken, which I plan on selling...it is SO cool...

Again, a look at the finshed look, really groovin on the blue and gold sparkles over the melon-y color of Hazard. What do you think-Doesn't it yell, "SUMMER"?

Butterfly Nirvana

Hope everyone had a fun and safe St.Patrick's Day if you celebrated! I'm not much of a party-er and stayed home and relaxed with family.

This mani evolved while I worked on it...I initially planned on stamping a chrome black right over Sinful Colors Nirvana, but I saw an untried and got maybe a bit carried away, hehehehe...
2 coats of SC Nirvana-love this color...

Combined lighting from Ott light and fluorescent light bulb, above.

Just a tiny little Ott light I found-makes me look pale but maybe the most color-accurate picture.

Now with the untried...Sally Hansen Glass Slipper-ooh are those white Flakies I see?? Yup, I think they are. My friend Saundie bought this and was telling me how pretty it was. I had seen it, but didn't realize what it would look like on the nail...awesome polish imo.
Above, with no topcoat...a little bumpy

Ooooh, you can see them better in this picture...tiny little flakie goodness in my eyes :0)

OK, it looks better from a distance, I know...close up the color accents on the butterflies are a bit wonky, but I still love them. This may be one of those times when I should have stopped while I was ahead, but I wanted a tiny bit more color on this mani. Nirvana is such a cool/odd color to put other colors with, I am not very confident in my color pairings with this one.

Here is a pic of the Sally Hansen Glass Slippers-looks like a plain Jane glitter polish to me!
