Another Mani Spam-Fest!

Not going to apologize this time...especially since it sounds like mani spam is a GOOD thing!

My Esty store is finally picking up, but that means a bit less time for fun blogging, lol! The jewelry isn't selling, but that's ok...it will be mine if it doesn't go, lol...(that is the biggest benefit of making your own jewelry!)

This is what I am wearing right now...First time trying the stripe-ing tape, and I am loving it...
Orly Winter Wonderland over white...pure heaven.
I was so happy with how this turned out-below, my right hand even turned out good!

Next......
Two of my polishes sponged over black....I was playing with the stripeing tape...not very noticeable, though...

Below, Sinful Colors Slate...yummy color, but I couldn't leave it alone....
I sponged half..I was going to try some crazy ass design stamped down the middle...

Stamped...not well, and I stamped over the silver with the blue-green that I used for sponging...meh...

Below, Zoya Gaia, 2 coats of loveliness...

Now, for one of my lemmings...Candeo Mallard-Stunning, especially over Gaia. You can see the gold underneath *sigh*

Under regular light....*sigh*
OK, Kitten pics...

Messy But Fabulous!

Holy Cow...this mani turned out awesome...except that my clean-up sucked....One hand looks like I was a walk-on for the Walking Dead show...the other just looks a little sloppy, lol!
I saw a lovely mani on Pinterest and wanted a similar look but with different colors. It was a pin by ColoresdeCarol, called China Glaze Polarized, here.

I started with 1 coat of  MAC Frost Asiatique, part of a holiday set I bought on eBay and never tried...Stupid me, this color rocks!

That is one coat...ONE. Kick-ass red creme. I love it and I will be wearing this again soon since Christmas is coming.

Then I gave it 2 coats of Orly Star Spangled...a gorgeous red jelly with red glitter. This was a bugger to photograph...but lovely.

The glitter in this is almost an orange-red....flashy but Ahhhh! SPAM-FEST!

Stamped over the top with Bundlemonster Chevron stamp. I used Sally Hansen Black Out...woops, I just noticed the tiny blob of chocolate from a chocolate cookie on my thumb below....They tempt me so when I am doing my nails!

Holy Crap....stunned at how Fab this looks!

I did use 1 coat of Gelous and 1 coat of SV to super-gloss this. Notice the bloody-looking cuticles and remnants of black on my middle finger...sheesh.

OK, there is also some weirdness on my ring finger and pinkie...started stamping using one image plate...changed my mind and did a quick wipe-off, hahahaha! Yeah...finishing this mani was an exercise in weirdness...but I love it, and it balanced my cranky mood

Random Mani Spam-Fest part 2

Here are some more random mani pictures....Life is still incredibly busy, so nothing truly exceptional here....just enough to keep me sane (well...maybe)

They are listed from the top, newest down to the bottom, from at least a week or so ago...

Ultra subtle stamping over 2 coats of A-England Dragon. I used my Konad special stamping polish....I was either screwed with this purchase or got a bad bottle, because it is VERY sheer for color.

It showed up fairly well in the light box but was almost imperceptible on the nail in real life...ah well....

Pure Ice, Oh Baby over Orly Le Chateau...great combo, but too dark for the gorgeous sunny weather, so it only lasted a day, hahahaha!

2 Coats of  Spectraflair franken I made...so stunning in the sun!! I love a good blue polish....

And finally...Yes, I did wear this (below) at the hospital...it was raining for 2 days straight and I NEEDED sunshine!!
2 coats of Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow , with Finger Paints Asylum over the top....I love flakies over bright yellow!
Take care and enjoy the spring weather if you have it in your area!

Butterfly Nirvana

Hope everyone had a fun and safe St.Patrick's Day if you celebrated! I'm not much of a party-er and stayed home and relaxed with family.

This mani evolved while I worked on it...I initially planned on stamping a chrome black right over Sinful Colors Nirvana, but I saw an untried and got maybe a bit carried away, hehehehe...
2 coats of SC Nirvana-love this color...

Combined lighting from Ott light and fluorescent light bulb, above.

Just a tiny little Ott light I found-makes me look pale but maybe the most color-accurate picture.

Now with the untried...Sally Hansen Glass Slipper-ooh are those white Flakies I see?? Yup, I think they are. My friend Saundie bought this and was telling me how pretty it was. I had seen it, but didn't realize what it would look like on the nail...awesome polish imo.
Above, with no topcoat...a little bumpy

Ooooh, you can see them better in this picture...tiny little flakie goodness in my eyes :0)

OK, it looks better from a distance, I know...close up the color accents on the butterflies are a bit wonky, but I still love them. This may be one of those times when I should have stopped while I was ahead, but I wanted a tiny bit more color on this mani. Nirvana is such a cool/odd color to put other colors with, I am not very confident in my color pairings with this one.

Here is a pic of the Sally Hansen Glass Slippers-looks like a plain Jane glitter polish to me!

Mari Moon Artsy and Zoya Ginessa Mani (Spam!)

Hey there, it has been a long miserable week so not very fun. Back to things that make me happy and bring sunshine to my day :0)
On to the manis...

I broke down and bought some Mari Moon polish, and I am ADORING it! I bought a set, and will be splitting it with my friend Saundie (she wanted Unconventional) so I may keep the rest. This stuff is to die for *sigh*

Two coats of Orly Liquid Vinyl, with one coat of MM Artsy over the top. Speed dry top coat in between colors and on top. (Out The Door brand)

Above, you might be able to see the blue and the purple at once....below, the rosy pink color..Can't wait to try the other colors, now!

I thought I would try the picture style that Alizarine Claws uses..but no one can do it like she does! She has phenomenal nails!

Now, a not so fab mani, but it was pretty...
Two coats of Zoya Ginessa. I used MM Daring for the dots, and then used some of the Zoya speed dry drops over the top. I STILL dented it during the night! I really love Zoya colors, but the fact that I can't expect fast drying OR mix and match as easily makes me crazy with frustration!

Here is a little friend of ours we had to say farewell to this week....Snowball. Goliath liked/tolerated her. I hope we made her day as bright as she made ours. We shall miss you sweetie

Sinful Colors Cinderella & Spring Glitter Blizzard!

I am so tickled that I found the Sinful Colors Cinderella, because I love it!
At any rate, I thought I would try it over white since it seemed so sheer...

2 coats of SC Cinderella over 1 coat Orly Softest White

This was a restful color to wear...I don't know how else to say it. It glowed and played pink peek-a-boo but it felt heavenly to wear....

After I took that off...and only because it started chipping...I decided on something more rowdy :0)

I want some shiny sun and green growing things, so I decided I needed some shine on my nails...

2 coats of Essence Break Through with 3 different glitter polishes: Spoiled Papa-Paparazzi, Wet N Wild Hallucinate and un-named Sally Girl silver glitter. The first picture of the Essence polish is the most color-accurate---a pink-ish purple and very pretty.

Yikes, Shield your eyes!

It was hard to get the silver glitter to show without glaring or looking black, but see if these pictures work...

Ok, I am done with the spam-fest. I hope your weather is lovely and your friends and family are close. Take care!!
